Bobby Martin, a former banker and successful industry research entrepreneur, and Nick Miller, an expert sales banking consultant, were determined to design a tool specifically to educate advisors to small businesses on various industry verticals. They were both unimpressed by how industry reports were so generic in nature – and offered little insight to turn raw data into actionable tools. During a breakfast meeting, they sat and documented the many possibilities to create an industry research features that were visual in nature, useful, and designed for fast comprehension.
