After a year of meaningful growth and innovation, we’re entering this new year with strong momentum. Throughout 2025, we rolled out major product enhancements, expanded key data partnerships, and continued investing in the people and programs that help our customers succeed, all with one clear goal: delivering even more value to our banking, credit, and advisory customers.

By staying focused on accuracy, usability, and actionable insights, we didn’t just add new features, we strengthened our position as the most comprehensive source of economic and Industry Intelligence on the market. And we’re just getting started!

2025 enhancements built around real user value

Last year, we introduced a series of upgrades designed to make our platform even easier to use, more efficient, and more powerful. Everything we launched in 2025 was built to save users time and provide the highest-quality economic and industry insights available.

Complete U.S. industry coverage

One of Vertical IQ’s biggest milestones of 2025 was achieving 100% of the industries that make up the U.S. economy and Canada. That means our users now have access to deep, reliable intelligence across every industry and niche they serve.

Reaching full industry coverage has long been a goal for our team, and we were thrilled to make it a reality. Just as important, we did it without sacrificing quality. 

Smarter credit and advisory decisions with AbsolutePD® from Equifax

In 2025, we also collaborated with Equifax to integrate AbsolutePD® into the Vertical IQ platform. This industry-level probability of default data gives lenders, credit analysts, and advisors a clearer view of financial health and credit risk by industry.

With AbsolutePD built directly into Vertical IQ, users can quickly assess inherent credit risk, review 10 years of historical default trends, and benchmark industries against national averages, all in one place. The result? Faster, more consistent, and more confident decision-making.

These insights help credit teams manage loan portfolios more effectively and support advisors in delivering data-backed guidance to clients. They’re also valuable at the executive level, giving chief credit officers a stronger foundation for shaping lending strategy.

Deeper Canadian insights 

Beyond major data partnerships and expanded coverage, Vertical IQ introduced additional product enhancements in 2025 to make the platform even more practical, flexible, and relevant for everyday use.

One key addition was the launch of Canada-specific industry financial benchmark data. While Vertical IQ has long supported professionals working with Canadian businesses, these new benchmarks built specifically for Canadian companies reflect the country’s unique operating environments, cost structures, and performance norms across industries. The result is greater confidence for advisors, lenders, and relationship managers when analyzing financial performance, setting expectations, and engaging in informed conversations with Canadian business owners.

More flexible print options

We also made Vertical IQ content easier to tailor and share with the introduction of custom printing and PDF creation. Users can now select exactly which Industry Profile chapters to include in a printout, allowing them to focus on the most relevant insights for a specific client or conversation at the right time. With the added ability to co-brand printed or PDF materials, users can share actionable, convenient, focused Vertical IQ content that’s easy for business owners to understand and trust.

Together, these enhancements underscore our commitment to helping our customers not only access high-quality Industry Intelligence, but apply it more effectively in real-world scenarios.

Investments in customer success

Great data and powerful tools only matter if customers know how to use them effectively. That’s why 2025 was also a big year for continued investment in customer success at Vertical IQ.

We pride ourselves on supporting our customers through a variety of hands-on, practical training options designed to meet users where they are and help them quickly get value from their Vertical IQ access. From onboarding support and role-based training to ongoing education and best practice guidance, our approach is all about helping teams confidently apply Vertical IQ’s Industry Intelligence in real-world conversations and decision-making. To this end, our Customer Success team conducted a whopping 466 training sessions and value-add webinars over the course of 2025, reaching over 13,000 people!

We also deepened our Customer Success team in 2025, hiring two experienced banking leaders who know firsthand what many of our customers need: career banker Jerry Bazada and seasoned banking executive Elizabeth Dobers. Their vast banking industry expertise brings an added layer of credibility and practical insight to how we support customers, helping ensure Vertical IQ’s solutions truly align with the challenges financial professionals face every day.

And the positive impact of these customer success investments is already apparent. In 2025, Vertical IQ earned a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 76 — an outstanding, best-in-class score among software companies. NPS is just one of several ways we measure customer satisfaction and success, but it’s a strong indicator that our customers are seeing real ROI from their relationship with us and from our Industry Intelligence platform.
